Course Description
In order to become a qualified assessor, individuals must first complete the Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement. This NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) assessor course provides comprehensive assessor support and covers a broad range of subject assessment skills within diverse fields such as hair dressing, security training and first aid etc. Accredited by UK OFQUAL, this online course ensures flexibility and accessibility for learners, imparting the skills and knowledge essential for becoming competent assessors in various vocational sectors.
Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
Unit 2: Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
Written assignment including practical demonstration of assessment skills whereby individuals will be required to assess at least 2 learners enrolled on a theory based course. For individuals without a placement and access to learners for practical component, our Trainee Assessor Positioning program can be availed whereby we offer assistance for completion of practical assessment for learners.
The course offers self-paced modules. It can be completed within a week to over a 4 month duration.However, the course access expires after a year and a re-enrolment charge is applicable.
