This award replaces the V1 course that was mandatory for training institutions employing IQAs.

Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment
Unit 2: Internally assure the quality of assessment
Written assignment and evidence for practical demonstration of IQA skills whereby trainee IQA would be required to quality assure the work of 2 assessors working with learners of their own each. The evidence for the trainee IQA’s performance must be valid, authentic and sufficient for all the assessment criteria.
The course offers self-paced modules. It can be completed within 2 weeks to over a duration of 4 months based on the learner’s own pace. However, the course access expires after a year and a re-enrolment charge is applicable.

There are no specific entry requirements for our courses, except that learner must be 19 years or above and possess basic literacy and numeracy skills.
You will have access to the course for 12 months, which permits working at one’s individual pace. After the 12 months, a re-enrolment fee of £35 will be charged.
No. You may complete assignment on your own schedule within the 12-month time frame that begins after receiving course materials. There is also 12 months of available tutor support.
To complete the practical element of this course, it is necessary to have access to the work of at least two assessors and each assessor must be connected to at least two students

No, formal qualifications are not mandatory for your assessors. They only need to assess candidates against established standards, which may include centre or industry standards/procedures, personnel specifications, or learning outcomes defined by an Awarding Body.
