This course is for those individuals who are already working or wish to work in a school setting. It is part of Supporting Teaching and Learning courses aimed specifically at those wishing to work as support staff or to work as a teaching assistant.
Your course access is available for 12 months, therefore you are able to complete it at your own pace. After the 12 months, re-enrolment charges of £15 apply.
Our courses do not have any specific entry requirements apart from the age restriction of 19 years and basic reading, writing, and math skills.

No set dates have been established concerning the submission of assignments. You are able to progress freely as you wish within the 12-month time frame provided for access to learning materials and tutor support.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is also referred in the industry as Petals course. Apart from the names, both are essentially the same courses.
The qualification is designed for learners who are not yet working in a school and provides initial training and induction for those who are new to the role.
